Forest Headquarter Hours Monday thru Friday 9-4, Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 11am-4pm. Open everyday of year except Christmas Day. 22,000 acres of state forest. Available for visitors are 3 family campgrounds, 2 group campgrounds, 3 accessible fishing piers, 3 boat launches, 3 backpack shelters, 2 swimming beaches, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, horseback riding trails, equestrian campground (Open April-Nov); Winter– Cross country ski trails, snowmobile trails, snow shoe trails, shooting range. Public hunting land during proper seasons.
